Delta Reign Booster Box and Bundle: Price Per Pack Compared

Eleven Delta Reign products, one number each: what a pack costs. On the resale market the 36-pack box is the only one under $10 a pack, and the bundle is barely cheaper than loose packs.

TCGplayer's Delta Reign sealed price guide on October 17, 2026: Booster Box $244.52, Booster Bundle $71.26, loose pack $12.31

The Delta Reign Booster Box costs $6.79 a pack on TCGplayer, and the ten other Delta Reign products on TCGplayer's price guide, cases aside, cost more than $11 a pack. That's from TCGplayer's market prices on October 17, three weeks before the set comes out on November 6. If you're deciding which box to preorder, or whether to wait, the per-pack number is the one to start from.

Every Delta Reign product, priced per pack

We read TCGplayer's Delta Reign price guide on the morning of October 17 (02:18 UTC) and divided each product's market price by its booster packs. List prices come from the distributor list The Lab TCG publishes and the US retail prices Bill's Archive tracks; Pokémon itself publishes no US MSRPs. Best Buy's column is what its search page showed at 02:33 UTC.

TCGplayer: ME06 Delta Reign Price Guide, Sealed Products tab. List prices: The Lab TCG's distributor list (blisters, Build & Battle Box, packs, Art Bundle), which has no price yet for the sleeved Art Bundle, and Bill's Archive's US retail prices (box, bundle, both ETBs). Best Buy: search results page. All prices October 17, 2026. Cases of several boxes are left out: none of our sources says how many units each holds.

At list, six of the ten with a known price cost $4.49 to $4.66 a pack and the other four $5.45 to $5.55. On TCGplayer the spread runs from $6.79 to $40.37. Do the per-pack math and the market is telling you one thing: if you want packs early, the box is where the premium is smallest. (What each kind of box holds, across every set, is in our Pokémon TCG products guide.)

Two list prices don't agree. Bill's Archive puts the 3-pack blister at $14.99; The Lab TCG's distributor list has $13.99, and that's what Best Buy listed on October 17. We go with $13.99, since a store is charging it. The box is the other way round: $161.64 on both lists, $160.99 at Best Buy.

Why the Delta Reign Booster Box beats the other ten on TCGplayer

At $244.52 the box carries an $82.88 premium over its $161.64 list, the biggest in dollars of any product here except the Pokémon Center box. Spread over 36 packs it's $2.30 a pack. The bundle's $44.32 premium sits on six packs, which is $7.39 a pack.

That's why the Booster Bundle makes little sense at market price. It works out to $11.88 a pack, 75% more than the box, and only 43 cents a pack under loose packs at $12.31. Six loose packs would cost $73.86 against the bundle's $71.26, so the cardboard it comes in saves you $2.60.

The box has come down since TCGplayer started listing it. In the week of August 24, the first with real trade (102 boxes sold), its market price was $268.76; by October 17 it was $244.52, 9% lower, with 1,373 sold so far. The bundle fell from $90.49 to $71.26 over the same weeks, 21% lower, on far thinner trade: 8 sold that week and 213 so far.

Best Buy search results for Delta Reign on October 17, 2026: Elite Trainer Box $49.99, Booster Box (36 Packs) $160.99, Booster Bundle $26.94 and 3-pack booster $13.99, each marked Coming Soon and High demand product Screenshot: Best Buy search results, October 17, 2026

Best Buy listed all four at or under list on October 17, and none of them was on sale yet. Each listing said "Coming Soon", with a "High demand product" warning that the item "is expected to sell out quickly". Store prices for the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box at Target and GameStop are in our Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box guide, and each store's rules for getting a turn at list price are in Pokémon cards at MSRP.

Our read: the box or nothing before November 6

The call: buy the box, and only the box, if you need Delta Reign packs before release. At Best Buy's $160.99 it's worth taking if you can reserve one; the listing says Best Buy has "updated our reservation process" for it. On TCGplayer we'd pay up to today's $244.52 and not chase it higher. Everything else we priced costs more than $11 a pack, over twice what the last three main-set boxes cost a pack today.

What would change our mind: the box still above $235 four weeks after release. That's what the smallest drop of the three, Chaos Rising's, would leave it at, so a box holding there would be doing better than any of this year's three main-set boxes, and today's price would look cheap in hindsight.

Bundles lost more than boxes after the last three releases

We pulled TCGplayer's weekly price history for the Booster Box and Booster Bundle of each of this year's three main sets, and read each one about three weeks before release, in release week and four weeks after. Delta Reign is about three weeks out now.

In all three sets the bundle fell more than the box. The boxes are harder to call: Chaos Rising's barely moved from three weeks before release to four weeks after, while Pitch Black's lost a third. Applied to Delta Reign's October 17 prices, those drops would put the box somewhere between about $158 and $235 four weeks after release, and the bundle between about $39 and $53. That's what three sets did, not a forecast.

Where those boxes sit now is the more useful number. On October 17 the Perfect Order box had a market price of $173.12, Chaos Rising's $182.28 and Pitch Black's $182.45: $4.81 to $5.07 a pack, within 60 cents of Delta Reign's list price per pack. All three bundles listed at $26.94, like Delta Reign's, and now run $33.16 to $39.22.

In the thread for a $249 eBay presale promotion on September 18, u/shotgunassassin (28 points) put it plainly: "This is going to be a good set but don't stoop to these ridiculous pre-order prices. Wait for November 6th."

In a later thread for a $229 promotion, u/ENTRAPM3NT (6 points) took the other side: "Doubt this set goes sub 200". Maybe. But each of the last three main-set boxes is under $200 today, and Chaos Rising's, the one that held best after release, is $182.28.

The Build & Battle Box holds four packs, a 40-card deck and one of four foil promos; it goes on sale at select Play! Pokémon stores on October 24, 13 days before the rest of the set. Our Delta Reign prerelease guide has the four promos and the event dates.

u/trq- (6 points) explained why people preorder at all: "Tbf preorder in these times is rather just to get anything before it's sold out. But I agree that preordering for above mrsp in newer times isn't that intelligent." That's our read too: a store preorder at list is fine. On TCGplayer it's a different bet: 36 loose packs at $12.31 would cost $443.16, so if you're going to pay resale for early packs, the box is still the way to do it.

For what's inside those packs, our Delta Reign set page tracks every card shown so far and the pull rates of the last three sets, and the cost-per-pack section of how to read pull rates shows how to turn a pack price into the cost of a card.
