30th Celebration Mini Tin: All 10 Designs Priced Per Pack

Ten lids, the same two packs. On October 13 the 10-tin display beat every single tin per pack, and a Tech Sticker box beat both.

Four 30th Celebration mini tins: Espeon and Mew in a sunny meadow, Mewtwo and Umbreon on a lamp-lit night street

A 30th Celebration mini tin lists at $9.99 for two packs, yet on October 13, 2026 TCGplayer's market price ran from $23.42 for Lapras to $29.46 for Umbreon. If you want packs rather than one particular lid, the 10-tin display is cheaper per pack than any single tin, though it wasn't the cheapest pack in the set.

Every mini tin holds the same two packs; only the lid and art card change

There are ten designs, and the contents don't change between them. Pokémon's mini tin page puts it plainly: "Each Mini Tin contains two Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs, one sticker sheet, and a Pokémon art card showcasing the artwork on the tin."

In each tinWhat you get

The art cards are the collectible part. The same page says you "can collect and combine all 10 into two unique scenes", five tins to each: a sunny meadow and a lamp-lit town at night. Inside, the packs are ordinary 30th Celebration packs, and the expansion page notes "that every card in a 30th Celebration booster pack is foil and that every pack includes a Pikachu rare card."

None of the Pokémon pages we checked prints a price. Bill's Archive, which tracks retail listings, has the tins at $9.99 each, or $5.00 a pack, the same sticker rate as the Knock Out Collection and the 2-pack blister in our Pokemon TCG products guide.

At street price, the display beats every single tin per pack

We read TCGplayer's market price for all ten designs, the display and five other 30th Celebration boxes on October 13, 2026.

Umbreon tin$29.46$14.73
Elite Trainer Box (9 packs)$136.70$15.19

The two Eeveelutions carry the premium, and Umbreon costs $6.04 more than Lapras for the same two packs. That's a fair price for a lid you love and a steep one for a sticker sheet.

TCGplayer's display listing says it holds "10 mini-tins, one of each design", and at $227.45 that's $22.74 a tin, below the cheapest single. Buying all ten singles instead came to $252.75 that day, $25.30 more. Per pack, the display also undercut the booster bundle and the Elite Trainer Box.

It wasn't the cheapest pack on the list, though. The Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collection, three packs and a promo card, sold for $32.89, or $10.96 a pack, 41 cents under the display. And the display's lead over the cheapest tin is thin: 34 cents a pack, about 3%.

Bar chart of cost per booster pack on October 13, 2026: Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collection lowest, then the 10-tin display, the Lucario Tech Sticker Collection and single tins from $11.71 to $14.73, with the booster bundle, Poster Collection and Elite Trainer Box, against $5.00 at MSRP Chart: SetPulls. Nothing on the list is cheap. The Exeggutor box cost 2.19 times its $14.99 sticker price, and the display 2.28 times the $99.90 that ten tins cost at sticker.

Two packs rarely pay for the tin

Our worth-opening model prices every hit card at its October 12 market price and weights it by TCGplayer's measured pull rates: a 30th Celebration pack holds $7.20 of hit cards on average before fees, $5.33 after selling them. So a tin's two packs average $14.40, or $10.66 once you've paid to sell the cards, against $23.42 for the cheapest tin. At street price, the cheapest tin starts about $9 behind before you've opened it, and the average of the ten, $25.28, nearly $11 behind.

Bar chart comparing the average hit-card value of two packs, $14.40 before fees and $10.66 after selling costs, with tin prices of $9.99 at MSRP, $22.74 per tin in the display, $23.42 for Lapras and $29.46 for Umbreon Chart: SetPulls. Sources: SetPulls worth-opening model (TCGplayer pull rates, card prices October 12, 2026); tin prices TCGplayer, October 13, 2026

That average isn't carried by a few big cards. Two-thirds of it comes from 40 different ones: the 30 Classic Collection cards add $2.63 a pack and the ten special illustration rares $2.22. The rarer group is the one people chase. TCGplayer's Authentication Center counted a special illustration rare in 4.88% of packs, so one tin has a 9.5% chance of at least one and the display's 20 packs have a 63.2% chance. The pull rate calculator runs the same math for any number of packs.

Collectors on r/PokemonTCG don't agree on which box is luckier. In an October 5, 2026 thread titled "Both from a single mini tin", u/Lonely-Towel-9788 wrote:

"But the mini tins i got all my bangers from! I feel like they got everyone buying ETBs and they are boxes of nothing"

It's the same packs in both boxes, and none of the sources we checked says a tin's packs pull better than an ETB's. The ETB's real problem is $15.19 a pack. A reply in the same thread shows the other side: six booster bundles and a tin, and nothing worth posting. At 9.5% a tin, more than nine tins in ten hold no special illustration rare.

Pick a single tin for the lid and the display for the packs

If you want packs, the cheapest we priced on October 13 was the Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collection, with the display second, and a tin at sticker price beats all of them. Every tin's market price was more than double its sticker that day, so a tin near MSRP on a store shelf is worth taking.

If you want the art, the display is also the simple route, because its listing promises one of each of the ten designs and so all ten art cards for both scenes. Buying the ten singles separately costs more.

If you want one tin as a gift, the cheapest three (Lapras, Greninja and Night Pikachu) sat within 36 cents of each other.

If you're after one card, don't buy tins for it. TCGplayer puts any specific special illustration rare at about 1 in 205 packs, and a 50% chance at a named one, like Mew ex 152/128, takes 142 packs, or 71 tins. That's more than $1,600 of tins at the display rate, for a card TCGplayer had at $86.29 the same day.

Our verdict: wait for $9.99, or buy the display for tins

The call: wait for sticker price. On October 13 the cheapest pack we priced cost 2.19 times its MSRP, and the display and the cheapest tin sat within 75 cents a pack of it, so at street price the box you pick barely changes what you pay. A tin at or near $9.99 is worth taking off any shelf, and at sticker the booster bundle is cheaper still: $26.94 for six packs, $4.49 a pack, the lowest sticker price per pack of any English 30th Celebration product Bill's Archive lists.

If you want tins and won't wait, buy the display. It beat every single tin per pack and hands you all ten art cards.

What would change our mind: tins or the display falling back toward sticker price on TCGplayer, or the display dropping below the Tech Sticker box per pack.

What changed
  • Updated Oct 13, 2026: added the Tech Sticker and Poster Collections to the price table. The Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collection, not the display, was the cheapest pack we priced, and the verdict changed with it. Two lines that went past their sources were narrowed.
