Pokemon Advent Calendar 2026: None Yet, 2025's Costs $120
Pokémon's card calendar came out every August or September from 2022 to 2025. This year there isn't one, and last year's box costs more now than at any point last winter.

As of October 26, 2026, Pokémon hasn't announced a 2026 TCG Holiday Calendar, so any Pokemon advent calendar 2026 listing with cards in it is selling an older box. The newest one, the 2025 edition that listed at $49.99, had a TCGplayer market price of $120.08 that day, 2.4 times list.
If you want a card calendar to open in December, date the box first, then price it against what's inside and what it cost last winter. It's a list-price box whose eight stamped promos come to $15.51, so don't pay a collector's price for it.
Date the box first: no 2026 calendar yet, and 2025's has six packs
Pokémon's August to October lists name no calendar
Each earlier Holiday Calendar arrived in late summer. Pokémon's product pages give September 1, 2022, September 1, 2023, August 23, 2024 and August 22, 2025 as the launch dates. None of the four came out later than September 1.
This year, Pokémon's monthly product lists for August, September and October 2026 don't include one. August has two products, September six 30th Celebration products, and October runs to a Battle Deck on October 30. Pokémon Center's holiday line, announced October 14, is apparel, decor, plush and gift wrap; it mentions countdown calendars among its evergreen items but names no card product. The next new set is Delta Reign on November 6, and our release dates guide has the rest.
Two collector sites that follow the calendar read it the same way. ColleX wrote that "as of 20 October 2026, no Pokémon TCG Holiday Calendar has been announced for this year", and Pokéled says the one in stores is the 2025 print run. Pokémon could still announce one late; nothing on its lists says it will. ColleX does list three Pokémon advent calendars for 2026 without cards: a Funko Bitty Pop! calendar with ten mini figures, a Kinder Pokémon chocolate calendar and a Jazwares calendar with 19 battle figures. For cards, the 2025 Holiday Calendar is still the newest.
Count the booster packs to date a box
The boxes look alike from the front, so count what's listed inside.
| Edition | Launch | Booster packs | 3-card fun packs | Keychain dangler | List price | TCGplayer, Oct 26, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | Aug 22, 2025 | 6 | 7 | None | $49.99 | $120.08 |
| 2024 | Aug 23, 2024 | 5 | 7 | Chien-Pao | $49.99 | $74.96 |
| 2023 | Sep 1, 2023 | 5 | 7 | Pikachu and Glaceon | $49.99 | $107.14 |
| 2022 | Sep 1, 2022 | 6 (Sword & Shield) | 6 | Yes | No sourced figure | $212.75 |
Contents and launch dates from Pokémon's product pages. List prices from Celadon Info, Pokémon Center and Target. TCGplayer market price, unopened, read October 26, 2026.
Six booster packs and no keychain means 2025. Five packs with a Chien-Pao dangler means 2024. The 2023 box also has five, with a Pikachu and Glaceon dangler. Pokémon Center and Target still show the 2023 and 2024 boxes at $49.99, both unavailable.
A "2026" on a marketplace listing is the seller's label
On October 26, Walmart's marketplace had a "Collectible Pokemon 2026 Holiday Advent Calendar" at $77.77, sold and shipped by Florida Box Breakers and not returnable. The page didn't list what's in the box. Pokémon hasn't released a 2026 calendar, so that year comes from the seller. Ask which edition it is before you pay, and check the wrap the way our resealed box guide describes.
Check the price against what's inside
Last holiday season its market price was $63 to $78

Chart: SetPulls. Source: TCGplayer price history, read Oct 26, 2026.
TCGplayer's history for the 2025 calendar starts in the week of November 3, 2025. Over the eight weeks to December 28, its market price ranged from $63.22 to $78.13, and 466 copies sold. The busiest week was November 24, with 117 copies, and the highest price came the next week. After the holidays it slid to $56.59 in the week of March 2.
Then it climbed. It was $77.81 in the week of September 14, 2026 and $120.08 in the week of October 19, up 54% in five weeks. Only 68 copies sold across those six weeks, and on October 26 the cheapest of five listings was $135.00 with shipping. So today's price rests on 8 to 15 sales a week. Last November, weeks ran from 45 to 117.
The eight stamped promos come to $15.51
| Promo (English, Holiday Calendar stamp) | TCGplayer, Oct 26, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Vanillish 190/182, Illustration Rare | $4.45 |
| Pikachu 025/165 | $3.89 |
| Eevee | $2.25 |
| Crabominable 149/142, Illustration Rare | $2.01 |
| Glaceon ex 026/131 | $1.71 |
| Articuno 032/159 | $0.63 |
| Delibird | $0.32 |
| Cryogonal | $0.25 |
| Total | $15.51 |

Compare like with like. At list price, take the promos' $15.51 out of $49.99 and $34.48 is left for six booster packs, seven fun packs, two coins and two sticker sheets. Count only the booster packs and that's $5.75 a pack, close to the $4.49 a pack in a Booster Bundle at its $26.94 list price. At the October 26 market price, the same math leaves $104.57, or $17.43 a booster pack.
You also can't pick the packs. Pokémon's 2023 page says "Cards vary by pack," and Celadon Info's 2025 page says "Packs vary by product." The Reddit buyer who started an r/PokemonTCG thread on the 2025 box got Destined Rivals and Journey Together fun packs, and in December u/crockrocket (3 points as of October 26) wrote: "Just opened day 4 and it was a temporal forces pack. So idk that these are standardized." They aren't, and Pokémon never said they were. Expect a mix of sets.

Older calendars look dearer, on one or two sales

Chart: SetPulls. Sources: TCGplayer search API and price history, read Oct 26, 2026; Celadon Info, Pokémon Center, Target.
The 2022 box shows $212.75, the 2023 box $107.14 and the 2024 box $74.96. In the week of October 19, those rested on one sale, one sale and two sales. The cheapest listings on October 26 were $300.00, $180.00 and $149.99 with shipping, so none of those market prices is one you could actually buy at. A 2023 box priced above a 2024 one says more about who sold that week than about the boxes. Our guide to checking a card's value explains why a market price on thin sales needs a second look.
The $62 calendar from September 2025, a year on
Eleven days after the 2025 calendar launched, that Reddit thread drew this reply from u/BeneficialAdvance627 (2 points as of October 26): "I just found two of these online for $62 but figured an $12 markup is fair enough considering the others will probably double its price soon."
They were right about the doubling, a year late. At today's price the box is 2.4 times list and almost twice that $62. But in the week of February 9, 2026 its market price was $56.83, below what they'd paid. The original poster, who bought theirs at Costco for about $48.99 with a Poké Ball tin, wrote that it was worth it at retail and advised against paying over MSRP. TCGplayer lists a "Costco Holiday Calendar and Great Ball Bundle" at a $105.84 market price on October 26, on one sale that week, with the cheapest listing at $169.68; we can't confirm it's the same pairing.
Two buyers bent promos opening it, and $40 of today's price is this autumn's climb
The 2025 box's layout drew complaints in that thread. The original poster wrote that the box's structure makes it hard to get the promos out safely, and their Crabominable Illustration Rare came out with a bent corner. u/lustforwine (2 points as of October 26) had it worse, having bought the calendar "specifically for Vanillish and ofc it was the only card bent and creased 😭". The Holiday Calendar Vanillish had a $4.45 TCGplayer market price on October 26, under 4% of the calendar's. If one card is the reason you want the box, buy the card. If you open the box anyway, sleeve each promo as it comes out; our card storage guide covers the sleeves.
Then there's the price itself. Every week from November 2025 to mid-September 2026, the box's market price stayed under $80. About $40 of today's price is the climb since then.
Pay $78 at most for the box, or buy the eight cards for $15.51
Don't pay $120.08 for the 2025 Holiday Calendar for what's in it. Its eight promos are $15.51 as singles, and from early November to late December last year the same box had a market price of $63 to $78, with up to 117 copies a week changing hands. If the daily opening is the gift, we'd set a ceiling near last winter's $78.13 high and walk away above it. For packs at list price, our guide to buying Pokémon cards at MSRP covers the store rules, and the 2026 products guide compares boxes by price per pack.
We couldn't find the 2025 box at its list price on October 26. Pokémon Center and Target show the 2023 and 2024 boxes at that price but unavailable, the 2025 Pokémon Center page didn't load in our checks, and the cheapest US offers we saw were $135.00 with shipping on TCGplayer and the $77.77 Walmart marketplace listing labelled 2026.
We'd change that ceiling if the 2025 box holds above $100 through December with weekly sales back near last November's 45 to 117. That would mean buyers in volume accept this price, which 8 to 15 sales a week can't show.
