Delta Reign release date and what is in it

The Pokémon Company International announced Delta Reign on August 20, 2026. It "will be available at participating retailers around the world beginning Nov. 6, 2026." The press release adds that Mega Rayquaza returns to the Pokémon TCG for the first time since the XY Ancient Origins expansion.

The set brings a new card feature. "Legendary Stadiums are created by combining two Stadium cards," and they form one extended artwork when placed side by side. The release lists:

• Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and six Pokémon ex
• Six Stadium cards that form three Legendary Stadiums
• 14 illustration rares, 17 ultra rares and six special illustration rares

Every set released on a Friday except 30th Celebration, the simultaneous worldwide launch on a Wednesday. And the longest gap was over the holidays: 77 days, or 11 weeks, from Phantasmal Flames (November 14, 2025) to Ascended Heroes (January 30, 2026).

If that pattern repeated, the first English set of 2027 would land in late January. That is a pattern, not an announcement, and we will update this calendar when Pokémon dates it.

Japan runs its own schedule. The official Japanese site lists the 30th CELEBRATION booster on September 16, 2026, the same day as the English release, at 360 yen. It also lists a Japanese set, Storm Emerald (ストームエメラルダ), on July 31, 2026, at 200 yen a pack. Japanese sets don't map one to one onto English ones, so don't read an English date from a Japanese one.
